Greetings to all the members of WBC (Writers Basthi Club) and iProdigies
Before penning down what I wish to convey thru this article, I would like to appreciate Yeshaswi for his Endeavour in turning a mere concept into some form of reality thereby building a platform from where others can work upon.
Sometimes when I gaze down the memory lane about the exciting and quality time spent together by us it brings me utmost Joy and Happiness. Be it the emotions displayed while playing cricket, commenting on the girls passing by, skirt chasing on the roads, playing night cricket, planning/watching BF's at one or the other place, pulling each others legs, Holi celebrations, New Year celebrations, night outs on shiva ratri... you name it and I guess we have done it. Reliving those moments makes me sometimes feel proud, sometimes feel happy, sometimes feel sad, sometimes feel angry and some other times look stupid and make me wonder as to why I behaved like that. More often than not the outcome was Joy and Pride.
This was only because I had the greatest of gifts with me all the time and that is you my dear friends. You were there with me thru the thick and thin, joy and sorrow, hope and despair. Thanks a lot for standing with me thru all the ups and downs in my life.
It really has been a long journey filled with all kind of emotions starting from the by lanes of Writers Basthi to the highways of Hyderabad. I am sure that no one has enjoyed as much as we did. Also most of the people don't have the same maturity level, the repartee, the spontaneousness as we have. We all know what we have done and how we have enjoyed life till now but none other than people within our group are aware of this. Precisely this is why we should use this blog to highlight these things. It will also help us to showcase to others as to how organized and matured we are contrary to the popular belief of being mischievous guys (WB image)
Now that we have a framework in place, we should utilize this opportunity and take this blog to an entire different level. This can be only achieved when each and everyone of us visits the blog, plays around and lets everyone know as to how they feel and what they feel. No matter how trivial an issue may be it has to come up. This will help in gathering vital information necessary to take this program to the next level. It's not necessary that whatever one says will be implemented but definitely we can discuss and debate over the issues and implement the necessary. This discussion is absolutely necessary because sometimes you need to play the Devil's Advocate to get the best out of people.
So I kindly request you to post all your suggestions and opinions about the blog and make this initiative a successful one. I would also request you to post any article or share any memories.
PS: This article purely expresses my insight into lives experiences and doesn't intend or is intended to disrespect any ones feelings or sentiments. In case if any one is offended I am extremely sorry as this might have been done unintentionally.
Best Regards,
Naveed Pasha.

The Corporate World
The Corporate World:
WARNING: The below text you are about to read is the essence of the authors perception about a particular topic or an existent/non-existent situation .The idea mentioned in the text DO NOT affect the sentiments, thought process or the ideas of any group or community in specific. The content might look crazy or fanatic and boring.Happy Reading!!
I am proud that I am part of this corporate world! The 2006-07 corporate world rather! But what makes me proud? Is it the corporate world itself or my existence in this corporate world? It’s still a question mark and the answer is “I need to still find out!” The word ‘Global Village’ has been coined almost everywhere, and to me the corporate world is an ingredient inside this big bag. IT sector booming, Banking industry at its all time high, Retailers getting their money worth, Pharmaceuticals, Stock market, Automobiles, Real estates, Infrastructure builders or whatever. Name an industry and you find it doing unbelievably good these days. Are they not adding to this small big corporate world? The answer is undoubtedly yes!!
So who live inside this corporate world? Do you say all the venture capitalists, the investors, the BIG giants, employees mentioned in the above-discussed industries? Yes partly right! Huge profits, increasing investments, promising growth, high end technology and the work outsourcing, drive today’s corporate. Earnings of the employees are at their best when especially compared to the gross earnings for the previous financial years. But are these saved to proper channel?? They are spent rather. The expenditure has also shot up drastically. Owning cars and apartments, investments in the share market, buying high end PDAs and gadgets and dining in the costliest of the food courts has been the order of the day. I know many of my readers agree and the rest disagree. Nevertheless, fact is a fact.
As we all know the age-old dictum “Make hay while the sun shines” we are all making our own hay, aren’t we? But the only question remains when is this mighty SUN going to set? We keep our fingers crossed. But this growth, we the Indians experiencing now can never be ruined. This wealth can never be robbed, but it’s advised to build a huge structure on this worthy foundation.
The coin has two sides, its not always heads when you toss it up. So are the employees of this corporate ready for a long innings? Wealth can be earned and can be multiplied with hundreds and thousands, but what about the corporate employee health. The stress and the strain, the mind-boggling logic in every source code written, the pinch of the stock market, the struggle and turmoil of a banker, the patience of a customer care executive, the long working hours put in every day in this a corporate executives’ life. Are we enjoying the awaiting family world personified with relations, affections, love and care, behind these rich curtains of corporate world? A corporate credit card can buy a gift, but the presence of someone whom you love can never be bought.
I hope this throws some light on the world we live today hoping for a better tomorrow. I hope my readers’ tomorrows worth a million dollars, with a tinge of love around.
Happy Blogging,
Yeshawi
